LMS Launch Announcement
Starting on September 6, 2018, all CADE stakeholders will have access to CADE training from the convenience of their own desk! As we continue to develop the platform and add courses, you may receive an occasional email notifying you that you’ve been enrolled in a new course. Bridge will also organize and track your learning. For managers, it allows them to track everyone in one easy-to-use dashboard and eases the reporting process.
We completely understand how busy everyone is this time of year, so we’ve tried to make taking courses as easy as possible. Bridge is also an online learning environment that you can access from your phone, tablet, or personal computer.
There are two ways to register!
CADE ACCOUNT HOLDERS: You will automatically receive an email on September 6, 2018 from the “CADE Training Team” with your personalized link to register.
NON-CADE ACCOUNT HOLDERS: No CADE account? Don’t worry! You can register for an account at https://survey.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6igQqlkXPp9xuaF

CADE Focus Group Read-Ahead Material and a Thank you!!!
The CADE Cost and Technical Focus group at Lockheed Martin on June 27-28, 2018 was a great success. We truly do value the input that will help influence the the way the Department of Defense collects data more efficiently and effectively. We believe the collaborative discussion of the CADE Initiatives will ultimately lead to a win-win for Industry and Government.

CAPE-CADE Focus Group on June 27-28 in Crystal City, VA
The CADE-DCARC team will be hosting the OSD CAPE CADE Focus Group 27-28 June in Crystal City.
The Purpose of this 2-Day Focus Group is to promote discussion amongst key individuals within the community in order to gain insight into their views and experiences related to the OSD CAPE Initiatives. CAPE would like to draw upon participants' attitudes, feelings, beliefs, experiences and reactions in a way that would not be feasible using other methods.
The first day will focus on Cost Data, including FlexFiles, while the second day will focus on Technical Data, including Software. Each day, there will be a series of Industry and Government panels to address specific topics and concerns across the community. Following each panel there will be a community feedback forum to collectively discuss and collaborate in order to formulate solutions and mitigation approaches for the aforementioned concerns. Both days will also feature plenary as well as contractor breakout sessions. Broad participation is encouraged from both Government and Industry, across the cost and systems engineering communities.
The Link for all Training Events and Focus Groups:
Location: Global Vision Center Lockheed Martin 2121 Crystal Drive Arlington, VA 22202
Read-ahead Material: The read-ahead material, comprising the most current Implementation Guide and Briefs for all Initiatives, will be sent to registrants during the early June timeframe in order to provide ample time for review before the focus group.
Plan for lots of dialogue! There will also be a working lunch (invite only) with Industry and Government leadership and CAPE leadership to discuss any concerns that were not appropriate for the plenary session.
We look forward to seeing you and having a candid discussion.
